PNK is a proud supporter of the Denise House, a safe place for abused women and their children. In the past we have collected donations at our trade show booth on their behalf, and donated food items collected at our fashion show. We will do our best to continue that support in 2016 & 2017.

Modelling Camp
July/August:
* PNK's Summer Modelling Camps were a big hit with the girls. We had large groups, especially in the ages 8-14 ranges. Girls had fun with hairstyling, makeup artistry, posing, a photo shoot, improvisation, skin care, self-esteem, tv audition skills, runway modelling, health tips and more. Many of the girls from our Modelling Camps are returning this fall. If you missed our Camps, the next one will be held during March Break 2017.
May/June:
* PNK's modelling groups stepped out of the studio and into the kitchen at the Loblaws Superstore in Oshawa for our annual Group Cooking Class. The class is designed to help the girls develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle. While in the kitchen the girls worked in groups, and learned how to create a healthy meal including homemade pasta and vegetable sauce, real fruit smoothies, and cookies to satisfy the sweet tooth that they all have. Of course the girls were able to eat their creations! We will be including healthy cooking classes as part of our nutrition component in most of our future Programs.
* The girls were also out in their modelling groups for the Annual Group Dinner Excursions. The group dinners are definitely favourites with the girls, as they have the chance to dress up and have dinner with their friends in a restaurant of their choosing. The dinner out helps develop life skills the girls become comfortable ordering, calculating tips, and applying their table etiquette.
* PNK's Promotional Models Linda and Kai brought their outgoing and friendly personalities to the Durham Video Game Convention, sponsored by the Port Hope Drive-In. The girls were a big hit at the Convention with both the convention-goers and the vendors as they posed for photos dressed as super-heroes Spider-Gwen and American Dream.
* Several of PNK's younger models took to the runway at the Oshawa Mini Mall Fashion Show that featured leggings from a new vendor at the Mini Mall. The girls had their hair and makeup done prior to the show and looked great walking the runway. We hope to have some more fashion show opportunities shortly.
